ROCHESTER, MA -

Old Colony is coming off of a shortened Fall II season where they finished 2-3. The team finished on a hot streak although, finishing 2-0 with a buzzer beater win versus Mayflower rival Upper Cape RVTHS (20-18), and a convincing win over Diman (36-12). These two wins came under the now permanent lights on Olivera Field. The Cougars are hoping these wins carry the momentum over into the 2021 campaign.

With a combination of a strong varsity veteran core and skilled, hard-working new comers. Old Colony is poised for a successful year. Not to mention the number of new comers I did not name.

Old Colony is also going through a change in the coaching staff for this upcoming season. Offensive Coordinator Coach Zachary Botelho was hired following the Fall II season to be the next head coach at Whitman-Hanson Regional High School.

With the new season on the horizon, and a new chapter in my life beginning. I am glad to still have the constant of Old Colony football in my life. With the ever changing world around us, this small vocational school in Southeastern Massachusetts will continue to play a role in my life. I am honored to be able to cover Old Colony as they embark on their Fall 2021 campaign. I look forward to seeing, along with you, what this young, but well coached, talented team has in store for us in the fall. I hope I can create ever lasting memories for the families and players this upcoming season.
